How do I scan a schedule or receipt?

1. Open ThatToThis and tap "Take Photo" or "Photos"
2. Capture or select images of your schedule, flyer, or receipt
3. The app will automatically detect the document type and extract information
4. Review the extracted data and make any edits
5. Add events to your calendar or split the bill with friends

What types of documents work best?

ThatToThis works great with:

• Class schedules and syllabi
• Event flyers and posters
• Meeting agendas
• Restaurant receipts and bills
• Store receipts
• Invoices

For best results, ensure the text is clearly visible and the image is well-lit.

How do credits work?

• Each image you scan uses credits
• New users receive free credits to try the app
• Additional credits can be purchased in the app
• Credits never expire
• Current credit amounts and pricing are shown in the app

Why can't I restore my purchases?

Credits are consumable items (like in-game currency). Once used, they cannot be restored. However, your credit balance is stored in iCloud and will sync across your devices automatically.

My credits didn't appear after purchase

1. Wait a few moments and check again
2. Make sure you're signed into iCloud
3. Try closing and reopening the app
4. If the issue persists, contact us with your purchase receipt

Why can't I add events to my calendar?

Make sure you've granted ThatToThis calendar access:

1. Open iOS Settings
2. Scroll down to ThatToThis
3. Enable "Calendars" access

The extracted dates are wrong

If dates appear incorrect:

• Make sure the document clearly shows the date and year
• For recurring events, check if the day of week matches
• You can edit any extracted event before adding it to your calendar

How does bill splitting work?

1. Scan your receipt
2. ThatToThis extracts all line items with prices
3. Assign items to people in your group
4. The app calculates each person's share including tax and tip

Can I split items between multiple people?

Yes! Tap on any item to assign it to multiple people. The cost will be divided equally among them.

The app isn't extracting text correctly

Try these tips:

• Ensure good lighting on your document
• Hold the camera steady to avoid blur
• Crop out unnecessary background
• For complex documents, use multiple clear photos

The app is running slowly

• Close other apps running in the background
• Make sure you have a stable internet connection
• Restart the app
• Update to the latest version

The app crashed

We automatically receive crash reports to help fix issues. If you experience repeated crashes:

1. Update to the latest version from the App Store
2. Restart your device
3. Contact us if the problem continues
